First of all, I’m shocked. I truly thought Romney would win. I thought the momentum was on the Republican side, and I assumed the polls were oversampling Dems. I’m also shocked that Americans can be this… stupid, is the only word that comes to mind. Employment numbers have to be rigged to get slightly under 8%. GDP growth at under 2%. Debt growing at a trillion dollars per year. Benghazi. No budget for three years. Obamacare about to actually go into effect. Medicare and Social Security hurtling toward insolvency with no word from a single Democrat that anything should be done to fix them.

Tax the rich is their only answer, with no thought to the consequences of doing so, despite historical data not only from our country but from other nations as well that points out that doing that hurts economic growth. Keep building windmills and solar power is their answer on energy while the greatest amount of natural gas and oil on the planet are beneath our own soil. What the hell?

But, now we’ll see. Maybe it takes some people more than four years to learn a lesson. Maybe heading toward the same cliff as Europe isn’t enough to wake people up, they need to start falling.

Obama is out of excuses now. He’s been POTUS for four years. Bush is LONG gone. The mess he is inheriting now, he’s inheriting from himself. There will be nobody to blame if he can’t lead us to more prosperity. What is he going to do? No more campaigning. Now he has to lead. Can he? We’ll see.
